Some of the lovely words from Leo’s past and present singers!

Leo is so much more than a vocal coach – she’s a life coach, she gives wise counsel, at times she’s even an agent – always happy to make those connections when she can. There’s a holistic approach to her method of teaching that I really appreciate – a rarity among vocal coaches. Most importantly she is able to help you unlock the potential inside which in turn empowers you to sing and perform with confidence.

“As a performer I was lucky enough to meet Leo and she not only transformed by voice but also my confidence and entire approach to singing. As a producer, when I was creating Gobsmacked! the only person I would trust to guide my cast through an all vocal show was Leo. She worked with every one of my cast individually and gave them not only brilliant direction and training but also the information and tools to be able to look after their voices for 8 performances a week. If you want the best in the business, ask for Leo Hass..”

What I’ve done since Associated Studios and working with Leo.

In 2010 I landed the role of Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music UK Tour (David Ian/Really Useful Group) where I toured the UK for a year and a half. I also went on to play Sister Sophia in further productions in Bahrain and Doha for Popular Productions.

From 2012-2014 I landed my dream job as Christine Daae cover in The Phantom of the Opera, Her Majesty’s Theatre, London where I was lucky enough to play the part over 70 times.

Having worked professionally as an actor and a singer/musician for over ten years I have had the opportunity to study with some remarkable mentors. None have unleashed the passion, joy, focus and clarity of sound that Leontine Haas has by virtue of her extraordinary breadth of knowledge, vast experience and her ability to immediately assess and tap into an individual’s vocal potential. Under her guidance, I have transformed from an actor with a good voice into an integrated singing and acting artist who can now work across mediums. My debt of gratitude to her is boundless.

I’ve been under Leo’s wing for a year and a half now and she truly is a great teacher – she not only develops your vocal technique, but also personally supports you and makes your lesson a safe environment. I couldn’t recommend her more. Since winning Britain’s Got Talent she has been a constant source of support both vocally and as a friend.

Leo is an inspirational vocal coach. She is very honest but encouraging. I trust her judgement and she makes me feel like nothing is impossible. I can take any song to a lesson whether it’s something I struggle with or not and she brings out the best in me. With Leo I always strive to be better, she makes me want to practice to be the best that I can be.

Since doing the first Associated Studios course I went from strength to strength – I secured a great new agent who I’ve been with for many years now and who I count as a friend and a rock… and have now wracked up two West End contracts, an Arena tour around America and I know there’s still great things ahead. Leontine and the directors, MD’s and choreographers from Associated Studios have remained in my life as friends, mentors and as fellow professionals.

“Leo’s understanding of the voice as an instrument is so finely tuned and resonant. Over the last year working with her I’ve had the opportunity to benefit from her wisdom, unfailing enthusiasm, generosity, friendship and support. Her breadth of knowledge, insight and passion for the voice is second to none and I am without doubt a much more developed vocalist because of it. I am very grateful to get to share in the delight of making music with her right now and hopefully for many more years to come!”

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Leontine Hass. She has helped me so much with my voice! After just a few lessons i’ve noticed a dramatic improvement. She has taught me to take risks and be brave and i wouldn’t have been able to do ‘The Voice’ without her. So thank you once again for being an honest vocal coach and for pushing me further than i ever thought i could go! I highly recommend her.

Leo has an incredible knack of understanding individual voices and knowing what needs to be done for them to improve. She explains things in a very clear, understandable way, meaning you come away from every lesson having learnt something new and invaluable. Having completed the part time Musical Theatre course at Associated Studios and also had individual coaching with Leo my confidence has improved massively and I would not hesitate to recommend them both.

Since starting lessons with Leontine I have found a greater joy and love in my singing and the ability to relax more when performing. Leo has truly helped to transform my voice dramatically and because I now understand more about my voice’s abilities and strengths it has helped me to become a more confident performer.Leo is a fantastic teacher with a supportive and patient nature and knows exactly how to enhance your vocal ability in preparation for a variety of performing jobs. I trust and value her opinions and knowledge of the performance industry.

I have been so empowered and challenged in so many ways by her vocal expertise and experience. My confidence has grown immensely as well as my vocal range and my acting ability.

I know without a doubt that going to her weekly classes has allowed me to develop into an all round better performer and singer. I remember specifically an audition that I had for a West End musical. After several recalls and after having a singing class with Leontine the night before that final audition, it boosted my confidence level to such a degree, that I walked into that final recall audition fearless. She is a remarkable teacher and friend that sees your potential before you even recognise it within yourself.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Leo for any job that requires vocal coaching, directing and staging. One of the best Vocal Coaches out there, definitely!
